Me in a Game - Companions

Companions to go alongside the in game me
(Cealc as a secondary character or female lead)

I wanted elements of folklore and dragons/wyverns in particular, so I'd decided to give this character 'Sparrow' some qualities that could mimic his wyvern partner 'Kunic'.

 
This was a pretty quick design so I didn't give it all too much forethought, just to get a basic idea of the type of style I wanted the character to have. This approach probably doesn't work as well as when I designed 'Cealc' using references for clothes and styles so I probably won't keep this design.

I looked at skeletons and bodies of animals like komodo dragons, lizards (specifically the Thorny Devil for its horns, which resemble a dragon's crown perhaps) and snakes, as 'Kunic' is a traditional wyvern with no hind legs.








Though again this is just one concept. I looked at African Kudu for Kunic's horns for the first design; the look interesting but I will probably experiment with shape and thickness some more before anything becomes concrete.

I designed Sparrow to be a male protagonist type character so I wanted him to stand out
